film schedule

Film schedule

1.     Why is a film schedule important to have?
One of the reasons why it I was important to have a film schedule is because it helped me and my group to structure our time and make sure that we were all available and vacant to work a certain hours. It also helped us to make sure that my cast and crew were all vacant to work certain time. Just for augments sake they weren’t available to work the hours we needed them, then we were then able to arrange a time with them when they would be able to work, which also allowed us to make sure that I was free as well as well as the rest of the cast and crew. Another reason why it was important to have a film schedule was so that I was for me to be able to work out how long it would take to film all of the scenes which I needed to use for my music video, and try to work out how long it would take, for example, it worked out to take about a week to film, I would then know this from the planning which I would have done from the film schedule which I have created. Another reason why it was important for me to have a film schedule is because It helps me to see if someone is unable to work during certain hours then, then it gives me the time to rearrange a time with them, so that I then know that I have only 2 or 3 scenes left to do with certain cast members.

2.     Did you follow the schedule while filming, or did you make any changes?
I found that for most of the production I was able to stick with the film schedule. This helped to make sure that I had completed every scene, which I needed to shoot and help to me ensure that I didn’t forget to film any of the scenes. I only changes which I did makes was to some of the scenes right at the end this was where I was filming the club scenes, as I found that I need to film more than just two scenes, instead I had to shoot about four, but in terms of the actual shots and the angles which I chose to have them I kept them the same. The reason why I chose to film another two more scenes was because I found that I would be using these scenes more than once and although I didn’t mind repeating the same scenes more than once, I feared that it would start to look too repetitive, that it why I then decided to film another two shots which then make it able to have more of a variety of shots during my music video. Other than that I didn’t really make ant other changes.

  1. This post demonstrates a good understanding of what a filming schedule is and how it is used in the industry. You now need to include the table to support the points that you have made.
