Risk assessment
1.
Why is it important to consider risks before
filming?
One of the main reasons why it is important
to consider risks before films is to make sure that no
one gets hurts while we are filming, and to make sure that they know all of the
different hazards which could happen while filming and make them aware of
anything which could be dangerous. Another reason why this is important is so
that don’t put any of my cast or crew in
danger while filming and make sure that everything is done properly to ensure
that no one gets hurt in the making of this music video.

How will the risk assessment assist me while
filming
I will use the risk assessment while filming
to make sure that I am not putting any of my cast or crew in danger. I will
inform them before filming of the possible dangers which could occur if they
don’t conform to what is says on the risk assessment. This is because it is
important that I make them aware of all of the different potential hazards
which could happen while filming, for example some of my shots will be filmed
in the middle of the road so therefore it will be important for me to inform my
cast and crew of the potential hazards of the road, so in this instance making
sure they are aware of everything which is going on in the road, and making
sure that they are aware of the upcoming traffic, as it could be coming from
either directions. Also as I am filming in low key lighting conditions, to make
sure that the cast are even more aware and alter of the traffic which could be
coming, and to get out of the way when traffic does come. Also while filming I
will just be checking that what my cast and crew are doing is not risky. Below is
a copy of the risk assessment which I used and showed my cast and crew to make
sure that they were aware of the risks involved while filming.

You have made a good start in explaining what a risk assessment is and how you will use this within your production. Now you need to include the table to support the points that you have made above
ReplyDeleteThe table that you have included above, now helps to support the points that you have made on why a risk assessment is important to a production.
